Summary (courtesy of Mark Hoppe)
The allrounders championship has picked up a notch with our recent 4×4, car trial and hillclimb events.
A reminder that to win the championship you need to have
- Competed in at least 2 disciplines
- Marshalled on an event
SO as it stands we have only 4 of our c500 members who have achieved this and they top the order. Lead by Graham Blake with his successful 12 car and hill climb scoring. Andy Webb has picked up 3 bonus points for 3 disciplines – all in the hard worked Saxo – 12 car, trial and hillclimb. Young Richard Thorne has been out and about in car trials and 4×4 trials and also come along and marshalled – so his reward is currently 3rd overall in the championship.
Merv Brake sits in 4th with 12 car and hillclimb ticked off and an intent to compete in a grass autotest – which will grab some bonus points.
Others who would jump the order if they marshal on an invite are in positions 5 to 12 – so definitely should consider this one !
Highest points scorer currently is Mark Hoppe who has not managed to get out on a 12 car yet – but if he does then he is likely to leapfrog to the top of the table. All to play for – up to the end of September.
